And so it's over

Christmas is over now. The waistline feels that little bit tighter and the hangover is finally passing. However the work is not over!
I've still yet to tweak the edit of Last train home, create titles ad credits, design the DVD interface in DVD Studio Pro, design a DVD cover, design a poster and export the whole thing to DVD and HDV tape. That reminds me I've gotta buy a HDV tape!
And all this has to be done before the 14th January 2010.
Got my Driving Theory test as well on the 12th January to add more pressure, better get revising for that!

Even though this project is almost over I can't help thinking what I could do for my next project. I know it's got to be non-fiction. So a documentary. Sometime soon I'll have to start asking around and reading the local newspaper again The Sentinel. See if anything sparks some interest.

And so the blogging begins

There's just 2 days to go until University finishes for Christmas!

My short film is almost completed. Although I'm not 100% happy with the sound quality I am quite happy with the visual elements (other than it wasn't shot in HDV).
For my next short film I think I'm not going to incorporate dialogue into the film and focus on my own cinematography. This short film I found on Vimeo is something similar to how I I'd like to do mine.
